Open House & Guest Student visits
Join us to hear about the exceptional programs at New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine that prepare you for a career in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Prospective students are invited to attend an NYCTCM Open House for an overview of the Acupuncture school & Traditional Chinese Medicine school programs, a tour of the facility, open discussion, and information on the application process.
At Saturday Open House events you are welcome to extend your visit as a Guest Student. You have an opportunity to sit in on classes, meet current students and faculty, speak with our financial aid manager and have an admissions interview. You may also have a complementary treatment in the NYCTCM Teaching Clinic. Contact the admissions office for more information about our Guest Student Program.
If Open House dates do not match your schedule contact the admissions office to arrange a date and time that is convenient for you. A personal admissions appointment can be the best way to have your questions answered and to review your prior studies for transfer credit. Day, evening and weekend appointments are available. The Guest Student option is available on most Saturdays.

Early Acceptance Tuition Incentive
Early Acceptance Tuition Incentive for new and transfer students. Enroll by December 1, 2008 & a student qualifying for early acceptance is eligible for a tuition credit for the Winter 2009 trimester.
The earlier NYCTCM has registration information to plan course selections and clinic scheduling for enrolled, new and transfer students the easier the process of planning for a new trimester becomes. With this in mind NYCTCM offers an Early Acceptance Tuition Incentive to newly matriculated students or transfer students in the amount of a 10% credit applied to their first trimester tuition.

New Student Orientation for Winter Trimester 2009 is Saturday, January 3, 2009 in Mineola, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Winter 2009 start date for new Level 1 students is January 9, 2009
Late Registration: December 8, 2008 through January 12, 2008.
Additional Free Parking
For those attending a Saturday Open House event in Mineola: if the NYCTCM parking lot is full, additional parking is available free on Saturdays in the Village of Mineola Municipal Parking Garage on Main Street located directly across the street from the NYCTCM parking area.

By Train
Take LIRR to Mineola station. Walk two blocks north on Mineola Blvd. until you reach First St. Turn right on First St.; NYCTCM acupuncture school is 1 1/2 blocks ahead on the right on First St., at 155 First St.
By Car
FROM LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY
Exit from LIE at exit 37S. Turn south on Willis Avenue and proceed for 2.8 miles past the intersection with Jericho Turnpike (Route 25) to First St. Turn right on First St. and go one block; NYCTCM acupuncture school is on the left at 155 First St.
FROM GRAND CENTRAL PARKWAY
Exit from Grand Central Parkway at exit 28S. Turn south on Willis Avenue and proceed for 2.6 miles past the intersection with Jericho Turnpike (Route 25) to First St. Turn right on First St. and go one block; the NYCTCM acupuncture school is on the left at 155 First St.
FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY
Exit from Southern State Parkway at exit 19N. Turn north on Peninsula Blvd. and proceed for one mile; then turn left onto S. Franklin St. Follow Franklin St. for 2.8 miles until it crosses the railroad bridge into Mineola, at which point it changes its name to Mineola Blvd. Proceed for two blocks north on Mineola Blvd. and then turn right on First St. The NYCTCM acupuncture school is 1 1/2 blocks ahead on the right at 155 First St.
